Kyle Bice is a Chicago based freelance artist, specializing in illustration and fine art.  A 2002 graduate of the American Academy of Art with a BFA in painting, Kyle has recently done a series of labels for New Holland Brewing and is the lead artist for The Monster Weekly, a blog that promotes childhood literacy.  He is the author and illustrator of A Book of Dwarves, self-published via a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2012.
 
Inspired to pursue art by an early love of comics, he has since been influenced by a diverse palette of artists, from Old Masters like Rembrandt and Sargent to modern masters such as Andrew Loomis and Drew Struzan.  He works in a broad range of styles and is deft in a variety of mediums, offering an ability to adapt to the needs of each project.  Kyle currently resides in Albany Park, where he lives with his wife Natanya, his cat Darth Noodles and about 12,000 books.
